Final Version of Digipak and Magazine Advert

To view as the full size, click on the images below.

Digipak and Magazine

We printed out the digipak panels and magazine advert as a PDF file, in the right size. We stuck it to a piece of card as a template to show how the digipak and the magazine advert would've looked.

Changes That We Made- Video

  • We fixed the sound by making the video one single clip and then muting the sound from that and uploaded the Supergirl song again.

  • We could not change the time on the ipod or rename the song as we would've had to reshoot the whole scene again. Due to time and practicality of arranging a time and place to do this, we could not re-shoot this scene or chose to replace it as we haven't got a better shot, therefore we decided to keep the clip.

  • We took the '10p machine' scene out of the whole video as it was too calm for the song, as the song is upbeat and fast. We replaced the shot with a solo bit of the artist singing.

  • We cut 0.1 seconds off the shot of her in pink singing to make it in-sync.

Feedback on Video (Class)

We showed the first draft of the video to our class to get feedback about what could be improved. These were the criticisms:

  • The sound needs to be sorted out as it is distracting and interupts the song.

  • The ipod at the beginning; the seconds is 14 seconds into the song and the '_01_' is distracting.

  • The last verse with the '10p machine' is too calm compared to the fast pace of music; either replace or get rid of.

  • There's a verse where she is in pink and the lip-synching is out a little bit and the shot is too long.
